Primary responsibilities for responding to all medical emergencies along with conducting patrol officer duties and answering store room calls. As the EMT you will read and comply with the EMT SOP to include proper documentation when providing assistant to employees. The Patrol Officer is the eyes of security ; they are responsible for monitoring the entire facility. They will monitor the fence, all gates, parking lots, and ball field. During the patrol you will document anything out of the ordinary and will report it to the Shift Supervisor. You will perform and document a complete PMCS on the vehicle before starting your patrol. Rounds will be conducted by the patrol officer and documented, monitoring of the parking lot to ensure employee and contractors are following parking policy and procedures. Tickets will be placed on vehicles parked improperly or in the wrong parking lot. You will also monitor vehicles inside the plant to ensure they are authorized to park inside. When passing officers on posts you will check in with the officer to see if they need anything. EMT's will not just ride from point to point. You must keep your eyes open and observe your surroundings. Additional responsibilities include raising and lowering of the flag at the designated times. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. EMT must pass a Defensive Driving Course and have a spotless driving record. Must have EMT Certification. Must pass required testing for security. Should have a minimum 6 months full time or 1 year part time experience. Must be able to work varying shifts.
